Peter Liu is a Boston-based comedian who is quickly becoming a popular touring act around the globe. Raised in China, Australia, New Zealand, and New Jersey, Peter’s nomadic upbringing has given him a unique perspective on life in America and a keen eye for the absurd.
Peter’s comedy blends sharp wit with cultural insight. With disarming honesty and sly humor, Peter questions conventional wisdom as he delves into the immigrant experience, dating & relationships, and life with his eccentric family. Whether he’s captivating the crowd with a story or bantering back and forth with an audience member, Peter never takes his foot off the gas, delivering gut-punching laughs from beginning to end.
Peter has performed at The Wilbur Theater, Don’t Tell Comedy, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Second City, and Laugh Boston. He has been featured in the San Francisco Sketch Fest, New York, Boulder, Burbank, Boston, Riot, Rogue Island, and North Carolina Comedy Festivals. While developing his craft, Peter has been lucky enough to have shared the stage with Ronny Chieng, Jason Leong, JR De Guzman and Deon Cole.
